In fact, in my personal experience, the design idea of water treatment process is very simple, basically look at the design documents of similar projects that the company has done before, and ask seniors or leaders for advice.
There is also a process design that you should have a design calculation book, adjust the parameters according to different projects, find the leader to get the calculation book, and then try to calculate according to the parameters of this project, and ask the leader or senior to help proofread, after the proofreading, the entire process flow is determined, and then the subsequent system design begins on this basis, which is a reasonable path.
Below I will roughly talk about the brief process of the next water plant design based on my own experience, welcome to exchange and discuss!
1. A water plant can be determined from beginning to end when treating sewage: grille and disinfection. Then supplement the middle part and fill it in the order of level 1 + level 1 strengthening + level 2 (core process) + deep treatment, and there is also a mud line after the waterline.
2. After the grille, it is generally a sand sinking tank, which is also a conventional method, small and medium-sized factories can choose swirl sand sinking tank, large factories are generally aerated sand sinking tanks, advection has not been seen much in recent years.
3. After the sand sinking tank, if the water quality and water volume fluctuate greatly, a conditioning tank will be added.
4. In the future, depending on the level of SS, COD and TP, the primary sedimentation tank or coagulation sedimentation tank can reduce the subsequent biochemical sludge production and gas supply demand.
5. If there are refractory organic matter (with low B/C or mixed with some industrial wastewater), add hydrolytic acidification and hydrolytic precipitation to increase biodegradability. This is the end of Level 1 and Level 1 Enhancement.
6. The core process is the most unflowery, ever-changing, inseparable from AAO, oxidation ditch, UCT, VIP, JHB, SBR, CASS and so on are actually improvements or variants of AAO, please determine which one to use according to the owner's preferences and water plant land, etc., it is worth noting that the recommended use of oxidation ditch mixed with industrial water is recommended.
7. The second sedimentation tank follows, but not every process needs a secondary sedimentation tank, and those with a decanter do not need it (because the separation of slurry and water has been realized). The core process involves membranes without the need for secondary sedimentation pools. If there is no deep treatment requirement, you can go directly to disinfection.
8. The first thing to do is chemical phosphorus removal (if you have not used chemical phosphorus removal before), the ability of biological phosphorus removal is limited after all, we still have to rely on aluminum salt, iron salt and PAM to remove phosphorus, here add a coagulation sedimentation tank or a high-efficiency sedimentation tank (coagulation sedimentation tank with sludge reflux), and the removal of SS and TP is good.
9. All kinds of filtration, filter tank or filter cloth. Domestic sewage treatment is not sent for disinfection until this is done?
10. The mud line is much simpler, part of the sludge is returned to the place where the mud water is separated in the secondary process, part of the remaining sludge is discharged, the remaining sludge is concentrated, stored, dehydrated, dried, composted, etc. if required, and directly transported and disposed of if not required.
Of course, what I said is just a big framework, we can't expand too many specific details, in short, the accumulation of knowledge is absolutely inseparable from a lot of practice, as long as you identify this matter and continue to go on, then sooner or later you will become a big coffee in this field, water friends, come on!
