Southeast Asia's manufacturing industry expands, and compliance emissions become a rigid threshold
With a total population of approximately 670 million, the ten ASEAN countries are the third largest economy in Asia. In 2024, the GDP growth rates of Vietnam, Indonesia, and the Philippines will reach 5.8%, 5.0%, and 6.0% respectively (IMF data). The manufacturing industry will accelerate its transfer to Southeast Asia, and high-water-consuming industries such as textiles, food processing, electronics, and chemicals will expand rapidly.
While industrialization is accelerating, environmental supervision in various countries has been tightened simultaneously. Vietnam investigated and punished 493 industrial emission companies in 2017 and 2021; Indonesia has mandatory access to the SPARING online emission monitoring system for industrial facilities; Thailand's daily industrial wastewater emissions are approximately 17.8 million cubic meters, ranking the second largest pollution source in the country. Investing and building factories in Southeast Asia, compliant emissions are no longer an option, but a prerequisite for continued operations.
Major national industrial wastewater discharge standards

Hongtai Huarui core product plan
For major industrial wastewater types such as textiles, food processing, electronics manufacturing, chemicals, and rubber in Southeast Asia, Hongtai Huarui provides equipment covering the entire process chain:
Intelligent integrated sewage treatment equipment integrates regulation, aerobic, precipitation and disinfection. It occupies a small area and is fast to install. It is suitable for on-site treatment in small and medium-sized factories, and is suitable for food processing, textile printing and dyeing, slaughtering and processing industries.

IC Anaerobic Reactor/ UASB Anaerobic Tower is suitable for high-concentration organic wastewater with COD higher than 3000 mg/L. The generated biogas can be utilized as resources, greatly reducing the subsequent aerobic treatment load, and is widely used in starch processing, brewing fermentation, rubber processing.

Dissolved air flotation machine efficiently removes oil, suspended solids and colloidal substances in wastewater, with a removal rate of more than 90%. It is suitable for pretreatment of food oils, electroplating, printed circuit boards, etc.

Reverse osmosis/ultrapure water equipment meets the high purity requirements of process water in industries such as electronics and semiconductors and pharmaceutical manufacturing. At the same time, it supports the reuse of reclaimed water and reduces total emissions and water withdrawal costs.

The frame and frame filter press/sludge dewatering system reduces the moisture content of sludge to below 75%, making it convenient for safe landfill or resource disposal in compliance with local regulations and reducing the cost of hazardous waste disposal.

Industry adaptation: Deep coverage of five manufacturing industries in Southeast Asia
Textile printing and dyeing (Vietnam, Cambodia): The wastewater has high chroma and high COD. It adopts a combination process of coagulation and decoloring + biochemical treatment, which is benchmarked with the Vietnam QCVN13-MT textile industry special standard.
Food processing and aquatic products (Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia): wastewater high BOD, high suspended solids, using air flotation +UASB anaerobic + aerobic biochemical process to efficiently degrade organic matter.
Electronic manufacturing and electroplating (Malaysia, Philippines): Wastewater containing heavy metals and cyanide must be chemically precipitated before entering the biochemical unit, and the emission limits of standard heavy metals are strictly set.
Rubber processing (Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia): Wastewater has high ammonia nitrogen and sulfur content, and is equipped with aeration desulfurization + denitrification process to achieve discharge standards.
